A Story of Determination

Robert L. Jubinville’s life story is one of perseverance, service, and an unwavering commitment to justice. His journey began with challenges that would shape his perspective and fuel his determination to build a better future—not just for himself, but for others.

Growing up in difficult circumstances, Robert learned early on the importance of resilience and personal responsibility. Those experiences instilled in him a deep understanding of the struggles many individuals and families face, as well as a belief that everyone deserves a fair chance and equal treatment.

Seeking direction and purpose, Robert chose to serve his country by joining the United States Army. His time in the military helped shape his discipline, leadership skills, and commitment to service—values that would guide him throughout his life and career.

Robert went on to attend Suffolk University Evening School of Law, where he became one of only three board-certified criminal trial attorneys in the state of Massachusetts. With more than 40 years of experience, he has been a dedicated advocate for fairness and due process, ensuring that every individual receives equal treatment under the law. As a member of the Governor’s Council, he played a vital role in evaluating judicial appointments, helping to uphold the integrity of the courts.

Throughout his legal career, Robert handled a wide range of cases, developing a reputation for thorough preparation, strong advocacy, and integrity. His experience provided him with a comprehensive understanding of how the justice system operates—from investigation to trial to sentencing—and where improvements are needed.

Robert’s commitment to public service extended beyond the courtroom when he was elected to the Governor’s Council. In this role, he was responsible for reviewing judicial nominations and ensuring that qualified, fair, and capable individuals were appointed to the bench. His work helped uphold the integrity of the legal system and reinforced his dedication to accountability and transparency.

What sets Robert apart is his independence. He has never been driven by political pressure or partisanship. Instead, he has consistently focused on making decisions based on facts, fairness, and the best interests of the public.

Today, Robert is running for the office of District Attorney of Norfolk County to continue his lifelong mission of service. He brings a rare combination of experience—as a veteran, trial attorney, and public servant—that allows him to approach issues with both depth and practicality.

His goal is simple: to serve with integrity, transparency, to protect communities, and ensure that the systems designed to uphold justice truly work for everyone.
